Guest Player Information

Thank you for your interest in the 34th Annual Seminole Memorial Tournament - Part of the 2012 OCYS Tournament Series.

GUEST PLAYERS

Are you a player whose team will not be attending, but would like the opportunity to guest play with one of our participating teams? Players interested in being an eligible guest player must register on http://www.gotsoccer.com using the directions below. Your information will be provided to coaches that are looking for guest players. Remember, in order to participate, all players and coaches are required to have a current USSF or their affiliates Player/Coach Pass Card.

How to enter the Guest Player Pool:
Go to www.gotsoccer.com and click on "User Login".
Log into the site by going to "Player Login" using your existing GotSoccer username and password (If you do not have an account click on register and create a new account).
After logging in, the next screen will show "Your Upcoming Tournaments". To search for a tournament click on "Tournaments" underneath the GotSoccer.com logo on the top of the page.
From this screen you will be able to use the search engine to find a specific tournament's date or name. Just type in the tournament you are looking for and click go.
The tournament you are looking for should appear after the search is complete. From here you will be "Apply as a Guest Player."
Click on "Apply as a Guest Player." This will take you to a page that will allow you to enter the guest player pool, as well as show you the divisions of play for the particular tournament you have accessed.
On the right click on "Submit Application." Above where you have clicked a message will appear that says "You have applied as a guest player." This message means that the process is complete. If you wish to cancel simply hit "'Cancel Application."
IMPORTANT: Due to the different rules and regulations for guest players throughout the many USYS State Associations, it is the responsibility of the players and coaches involved to make sure all the required forms and documents are provided to the tournament. If in doubt contact the state association.

Coaches
If you are interested in adding a guest player to your team please follow the steps outlined below to access and add available guest players. Remember, in order to participate, all players are required to have a current USSF or Affiliates Player/Coach pass card.

How to add a Guest Player to your roster:

Go to www.gotsoccer.com and click on "User Login", then login under "Team Login".
Your team page will appear, on the left-hand side in the middle of the page underneath "Your Upcoming Events" click on the event you are looking to add a guest player to.
The next page will show team information regarding the tournament you have selected. Click on the tab that says "Guest Player" on the upper-right hand corner of the page.
A list of guest players available will appear. Click on the player you wish to add to your team.
you have entered the guest player overview screen where you will be able to view information about the player. If you wish to add this player look under team assignment under the right side of the page. Use the pull down tab to place your team's name in the guest of section, and then place the jersey number the player will be wearing in the box. Click on Update.
You have now successfully added the player to your roster for this tournament.
